Q: How does the Electric Cutout benefit my vehicle?

A: The QTEC is designed to relieve back pressure from your engine by diverting exhaust gas before reaching your muffler system. Allowing for more power and better sound. The QTEC is 100% adjustable using the control switch so you can have as much (or as little) sound as you like.

Q: What sizes are available?

A: QTECs are available to fit most cars or trucks. With sizes ranging from 2.25" through 5" on our standard size cutouts. If your car is lowered or is tight on space, we offer our Low profile system which allows for increased versatility on install.

Q: Where is the best place to install my QTEC?

A: The QTEC is effective anywhere between the catalytic converter and the muffler. As a standard rule, we recommend placing the cutout at least 16"-120" behind a header collector. Ground  and chassis clearance should always be considered first and you should plan to leave space between the bottom of the vehicle and the QTEC mounting location to allow for space for your exhaust system to flex under heavy acceleration.

Q: Are Electric Cutouts Street Legal?

A: The QTEC is designed for racing/off-street applications. With the electric cutout in the closed position, your vehicle will function just like stock however your local laws may vary and you are encouraged to do your research with local motor vehicle laws before making any purchase that modifies your vehicle.

Q: Does the Electric Cutout require maintenance?

A: The QTEC is designed for years of trouble free operation. Just like any other component on your car, you cannot install them and forget about them. Exhaust systems will generate soot/carbon and over a period of time that can clog the sealing surfaces of any cutout. We recommend, monthly spraying the cutout surfaces with a good penetrating oil such as "Liquid Wrench". WD40 is a great product for a squeaking door but it is not recommended in this application as the water content tends to cause evaporation. If you drive your vehicle in harsh climates or the valve is exposed to winter road conditions, we recommend removing the Electric valve and using the supplied cap, close the system off until more favorable conditions are realized.

Q: Can I get replacement parts?

A: Absolutely. We realize accidents happen and sometimes that day at the track didn't go as planned. We offer a full complement of replacement parts for our cutouts.

Our website may provide links to other third party websites and online services, Linked websites and services may have their own privacy policies, which we strongly suggest you review. Shipping & Returns

Q: Credit Cards

We accept Master Card, Visa and Discover. We will ship your order as soon as possible. All order must be shipped to the billing address matching your credit card. There are no exceptions. We will gladly accept your money order, personal check or wire transfers. Your order will be shipped 10 days after the check is received. No cash payments are accepted by mail.

Q: C.O.D. Pick-up

You can pick your order up at our facility between the hours of 9am-4pm EST, Monday thru Friday. *closed for major holidays. Please call first for information and product availability.

Q: Shipping Policy

UPS is our shipping company of choice. We offer regular UPS Ground service, Second Day Service and Next Day Air. Shipping and Insurance are additional unless otherwise specified. Our policy is to keep shipping charges as low as possible. Please call for rates.

Q: Cancelled Orders

Any ordered cancelled after placed subjected to 20% order processing fee.

Q: Return Policy

Before you return a product, contact us at 973-513-9955 for assistance. All returns must have a pre-approved RGA (return goods authorization) number printed clearly marked on the outside of the box. All returns must be made within 30 days from date of original shipment and are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Returns made without prior authorization will be refused. Following inspection of returned goods, the balance will be returned in the form of a check, mailed to the shipping address or may be applied as credit towards another purchase. Please allow up to 30 days for processing

Q: Warranty

Products carry 90 day warranty from date of purchase against manufacturing defects. Damage to product from road strikes or improper installation, racing incidents are not covered under this warranty.
